Overnight Oats

Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 0 minutes Total time: 5 minutes

Base recipe-

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  2. 3 cups milk

Instructions:

  1. Fill 4 meal prep containers with 1/2 cup of oats each.
  2. Add 3/4 cup of milk to each container and stir to combine.
  3. Let mixture sit in fridge for at least 8 hours. Overnight is best, hence the name.
  4. To meal prep: you already did!

To make it fancy: Spice it up with some of these ideas

  • Peanut butter and chocolate chip- add PB while assembling your oats, and chocolate chips when ready to eat
  • Peanut butter and banana- add PB while assembling your oats, and banana with chocolate chips or chocolate syrup when ready to eat
  • Strawberry cheesecake- add strawberries and yogurt of your choice while assembling your oats, and crushed graham crackers when ready to eat
  • Blueberry- add blueberries and yogurt of your choice while assembling your oats
  • Chocolate- add cocoa powder and vanilla extract while assembling your oats
  • Mixed berry- add a mix of frozen berries while assembling your oats
  • Add chia seeds, almond butter, or any other toppings/ mix ins to any overnight oat combo!
